Your New Bill Design: FAQ

No. We believe that every LUMA customer deserves to know exactly what they are paying for, their energy use and what they can do to conserve and save more energy.

All the information you have on your current bill, you will find in the new bill design, only clearer and more prominent. We have also added several new features and tools that provide more information on energy use, what you are paying for and tips to conserve electricity.

We’ve redesigned your bill to include important information that will help you better understand what exactly you are paying for, what your energy use is and how you can conserve and save more energy.

The new bill design has all the information of the current bill and more. Additional information in the new bill design includes:

  • Service address
  • Date of previous meter reading
  • Beginning and ending date of the billing period
  • Pie chart with bill breakdown
  • More message areas
  • Energy usage comparative area
  • Daily energy usage (in kVh and $)

This information is laid out in an easy-to-read manner and provides important details on what is included in your bill and how it impacts what you pay.

Yes. You will continue to receive your bill by mail if that is your chosen method of delivery and you will receive it electronically through the Mi LUMA Web or Mi LUMA App digital channels if that is your chosen method. Remember you can easily change your bill delivery method through our digital channels or by calling us at 1-844-888-5862 (LUMA).

The way you pay your bill has not changed. You can continue writing checks or money orders out to LUMA. When you send your payment, remember to enclose the payment coupon (which is bottom portion of the first page of your bill) with your check. Do not bend, mutilate, staple, write (only the amount to be paid) or use adhesive tape on the checkbook. Please do not send cash.

For any billing inquiries, please call us at 1-844-888-5862 (LUMA) and talk to one of our service advisors. They will be happy to help. You can also submit a billing inquiry request through our digital channels Mi LUMA Web and Mi LUMA App. You can register for Mi LUMA Web at www.miluma.lumapr.com or for Mi LUMA App by downloading the app to your phone.
