Internships Programs

As we build and upgrade Puerto Rico’s electrical system, the need for talented and qualified employees is ever-growing. LUMA has partnered with universities and school programs across the island to prepare tomorrow’s energy infrastructure experts by connecting people and providing tools and mentorship for their development.

Internship Program (8-week program) Summer internship for engineering, project management, finance, IT/OT, reporting & analytics and administration students. The program aims to recruit top talented students with professional experience who are going through their second year of undergraduate studies and above.

COOP Program – 6 months (1 semester: August – December, January-May) Undergraduate students providing technical support on activities such as validation activities, product transfer, engineering test and designs, productivity projects, among others

COOP – (1-year program) Undergraduate students looking for professional experience and opportunities to be part of the electrical transformation of Puerto Rico during their bachelor’s or master’s degree.
