The information on this page reflects outages impacting greater than 500 customers and includes estimated restoration times (ETRs).

The below report provides up-to-date information on service interruptions that occur due to weather, generation shortfalls, system maintenance and upgrades or other factors. The outage portal will remain available as part of LUMA’s normal day-to-day operations for customers to reference for the latest information on any service interruptions that customers may be experiencing.

     Category

  • Scheduled Maintenance – Planned outage to enable LUMA crews to safely complete maintenance and improvements to the electricity system in the area.

  • Unplanned – Outage that was not planned and caused by events like severe weather, faults on the electric system, generation capacity shortfalls, etc.

  • 3rd Party – Outage caused by 3rd parties damaging the electrical grid such as line strikes, traffic accidents, etc.

The safety of employees and the public is off the utmost importance to LUMA, and restoration times may be delayed during severe weather (eg. lighting and wind) that prevents LUMA crews from completing work on the electric system safely. Time of Restoration provided above is an estimate only and updated on an hourly basis.
