LUMA Celebrates the Second Supplier
Summit for the Transformation of the Puerto Rico Electric Grid
Last Wednesday, April 10, 2024, for the second consecutive year, LUMA received hundreds of product and service providers as part of the second Supplier Summit for the Transformation of the Puerto Rico Electric Grid. LUMA highlighted its continued commitment to improving collaboration and communication with its business partners and to continuing to expand the company’s socioeconomic impact in Puerto Rico.
During the event, LUMA executives, accompanied by representatives and agencies of the Puerto Rican government, met with suppliers to discuss the company’s objectives, progress made, capital spending plans and potential collaboration opportunities. In addition, the importance of increasing participation in the modernization of Puerto Rico’s electrical grid was emphasized, to support LUMA’s mission and vision for the island, as well as take advantage of the incentives available for work in the territory.
