Key Features of the Energy Efficiency Initiative include:
- Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs: Residential and commercial customers who install energy-saving equipment, such as solar-powered water heaters, energy-efficient air conditioning units, and refrigeration, will be eligible for substantial rebates. After installation, customers can apply for rebates, receiving checks from LUMA after completing the process. These upgrades not only aim to lower customers’ electricity costs but also reduce power consumption, supporting LUMA’s commitment to grid reliability and clean energy transitions.
- Energy Efficiency Kits: LUMA offers complimentary energy savings kits to residential and business customers. These kits include tools and resources to facilitate immediate energy savings, providing a simple yet effective starting point for greater efficiency.
