LUMA is seeking a qualified vendor to perform repairs on the 230kV High-Pressure Fluid Filled (HPFF) cable system serving Costa Sur Autotransformer No. 2. The scope of work includes the full provision of labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to restore the system to its operational condition and ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
Specific work to be completed includes:
Install 150 feet of 345kV, 2500 kcmil LPP-insulated HPFF cable
Replace one (1) HPFF 230kV termination, including paper roll, pipe stub, and base plate
Install one (1) HPFF 230kV joint transitioning from 1750 kcmil paper to 2500 kcmil LPP, including casing and split reducers
Submit materials for engineering approval prior to purchase and installation
Execute all work using best construction practices and in accordance with applicable safety and environmental standards
