LUMA seeks to acquire, through a Request for Proposal (RFP), comprehensive testing services for all live-line (dielectric) tools from responsible and qualified vendors. All electrical safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and live line tools must be tested regularly in accordance with applicable ASTM and ANSI standards. These tools include, but are not limited to, telescoping sticks, disconnect sticks, measuring sticks, body rescue hook sticks, universal poles, shotgun/clamp sticks, insulated cutters, tree trimmers, fiberglass platforms, phasing sticks, and extension arms. All testing procedures must comply with ASTM F3121 and ASTM F1826
